i35 LAN

Our first match started well with the server changing to a different map after 15 rounds, this took 30 minutes or so to sort out after FM VAPORX started bitching about replaying the whole game, lol. Then after beating infused 16 - 12 on inferno we where set for what we thought would be a good tournament, how wrong we were. Contra saw us beating [eC*K] 16 - 4 which put us in a good mood for the final group stage game... we played quite possibly the worst game of Source ever vs double chins "Smile))" on dust2 loosing 16 - 2. This dire result meant we where in joint first place in the group stages with infused and double chins all on 9 points.

We went on to play our next game vs infused again! on contra and unfortunately lost 12 - 16 in what seemed like a closer game, mid way through this FiRe (CSS head admin) came over to us and told us this game was void and we had to play double chins again to earn our place in the elimination stages. We where somewhat confused over this so after the game was done we had a sit down with Neophyte from MPUK, double chins had bypassed FiRe and gone directly to management. To cut a long story short, dispite the tourny not being run on round difference, we went out on round difference, was also nice to see Neophyte make up some tourny rules on the day, gg Smile

The full rage from Steve from the day can be found here

All in all a total mess up of a CSS tourny for us, in no way was this FiRe's fault as he had been helpful through the whole thing.

CAL League Update

Comments 0 By England c0dec in CAL News on Tuesday 28 October @ 09:34

Cyberathlete Amateur League

A less than convincing win over ownIT, previously the only unbeaten team bar us in our CAL group.
A few sloppy rounds made this quite a tight fort game, annoyingly one of our worst performances on season where we could of easily had 4/5 more rounds in our favour.

Never the less still a win which secures our place at the top spot of our group (Euro/North/Prem).
